Her death came just hours after her daughter was shifted to another tiger reserve.<\/p>\n<p>The news has left wildlife photographers, forest officials, and regular safari-goers gutted. Amongst them is nature photographer Sachin Rai, who had tracked Arrowhead\u2019s journey since she was a cub. In an emotional post on Instagram, Rai shared a video of what he called her \u201clast walk,\u201d filmed near Padam Talab on June 17.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the evening of June 17th, I witnessed what would likely be the last walk of the legendary tigress Arrowhead It was heartbreaking to see her struggle, attempting to rise and take a few feeble steps before collapsing again,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rai, Arrowhead moved slowly, her body weighed down by illness, pausing after barely ten steps before eventually lying down under a tree.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEach movement was a visible effort In that quiet moment, I knew in my heart that the end was near,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Rai\u2019s tribute wasn\u2019t just about her final moments. He reflected on her journey from cubhood to claiming territory once ruled by her mother.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have followed Arrowhead\u2019s journey since she was a tiny cub. From those early days to watching her grow into a powerful tigress every chapter of her life was a testament to resilience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Watch the video here:<\/p>\n<p>Arrowhead belonged to Ranthambore\u2019s royal bloodline. Daughter of Krishna (T-19) and granddaughter of the legendary tigress Machhli (T-16), she was often called the \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatoday.in\/information\/story\/ranthambore-tigress-arrowhead-dies-at-11-heres-a-look-at-her-family-tree-2743782-2025-06-21\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\">Queen of Ranthambore<\/a>\u2019. Forest officials confirmed that she had been battling advanced bone cancer and was under observation in her final weeks.<\/p>\n<p>With Arrowhead\u2019s death, Ranthambore has lost not just a tigress but a legacy.
