It also noted the gains made in creating a safer district overall.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" origination_station=\"KDFW\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">What they&#8217;re saying:<\/p>\n<p data-v-6fc2855c=\"\">&#8220;We don\u2019t have shootings every night. We don\u2019t have homicides every night. I think it\u2019s important for people to recognize that we are working very hard down there to change the entire outlook of the area, and that when those incidents occur, they just get a lot of headlines,&#8221; said Lt.
