{"id":377684,"date":"2025-11-14T06:15:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T06:15:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/377684\/"},"modified":"2025-11-14T06:15:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T06:15:11","slug":"san-diego-county-das-office-nbc-7-san-diego","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/377684\/","title":{"rendered":"San Diego County DA\u2019s Office \u2013 NBC 7 San Diego"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A sexually violent predator \u2014 once known as the Bolder Than Most Rapist for committing a series of rapes in the 1980s \u2014 has been arrested again. <\/p>\n<p>Alvin Ray Quarles was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsandiego.com\/news\/local\/bolder-than-most-rapist-released-as-a-transient-will-be-supervised-sdso\/3730644\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">released as a transient in Campo earlier this year<\/a> after serving 25 years in state prison and about a decade in sex offender treatment at Coalinga State Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Quarles was arrested for violating the terms of his parole, according to the San Diego District County Attorney&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p>He is being held without bail and there&#8217;s a court hearing scheduled for Friday afternoon.  <\/p>\n<p>Quarles pleaded guilty to four forcible rape counts in 1989. Prosecutors have said that Quarles would assault his victims at knifepoint, sometimes forcing the women&#8217;s boyfriends or husbands to watch.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe San Diego County Sheriff&#8217;s Department announced a sexually violent predator has been placed in Campo.
