In an interview with Variety\u2019s Marc Malkin<\/a>, the “Ocean\u2019s Eleven” star said the Hollywood community is disturbed by how realistic AI depictions have become, particularly those created with the latest audio and video generation models.\u00a0<\/p>\n “The thing that really rattled Hollywood in general was the Sora 2 stuff,” he said, mentioning one of the latest models. “That shook everybody because suddenly the quality was much better, and it\u2019s scary.”<\/p>\n \u2018HORIZON\u2019 STAR KEVIN COSTNER REVEALS WHAT HE’S LOOKING FOR IN NEXT ROMANCE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n During a recent interview with Variety, actor George Clooney said artificial intelligence-generated videos are getting “dangerous” with how realistic they look. (Anadolu\/Getty)<\/p>\n Clooney told the outlet he has seen AI-generated videos of himself doing things he\u2019s never done and warned that others may struggle to distinguish those clips from reality.\u00a0<\/p>\n “There\u2019s been some really actually awful ones where they\u2019ve done and said things that I\u2019ve never done and said and put me out there, and it\u2019s dangerous,” he said. “It\u2019s dangerous for your family. It\u2019s dangerous. (Kirby Lee\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n Norwood, an AI depiction of a young actress created by AI production studio Particle6, is just one version of AI content that creator Eline Van der Velden said she wants to introduce into mainstream filmmaking.<\/p>\n In an interview with Variety, Van der Velden predicted that full-length AI films will soon be part of the industry\u2019s future.<\/p>\n Van der Velden told the outlet, “I\u2019m sure in the coming year, there\u2019ll be plenty of effects that will be made with AI. The Hollywood actors union SAG-AFTRA issued a statement<\/a> in September 2025 condemning the artificial actress.\u00a0<\/p>\n “To be clear, \u2018Tilly Norwood\u2019 is not an actor, it\u2019s a character generated by a computer program that was trained on the work of countless professional performers \u2014 without permission or compensation. It has no life experience to draw from, no emotion and, from what we\u2019ve seen, audiences aren\u2019t interested in watching computer-generated content untethered from the human experience,” the union said.<\/p>\n Clooney told Variety he doesn\u2019t believe AI actors will replace movie stars anytime soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n “But you know, AI is gonna have the same problem that we have in Hollywood, which is making a star is not so easy. You can\u2019t really describe what makes someone a star, and it\u2019s not looks. It\u2019s something unusual, and it\u2019s hard to detect.
