{"id":378360,"date":"2025-11-14T13:07:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T13:07:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/378360\/"},"modified":"2025-11-14T13:07:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T13:07:12","slug":"teenage-driver-involved-in-serious-pedestrian-crash-wrps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/378360\/","title":{"rendered":"Teenage driver involved in serious pedestrian crash: WRPS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"publish-date\">Posted Nov 14, 2025 04:01:05 AM.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last-modified-date\">Last Updated Nov 14, 2025 04:01:09 AM.<\/p>\n<p>A woman walking in Wallenstein was seriously injured in a crash Thursday evening.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/WRPSToday\/status\/1989171747694784870\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Waterloo regional police<\/a><\/strong> say the 48-year-old woman was walking in the Herrgott Road and Line 86 intersection of Wellesley Township around 6:45 p.m. when she was hit by a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle in question was heading northbound on Herrgott Road.<\/p>\n<p>She was seriously injured and sent to an out-of-region hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the driver was a 17-year-old boy. He was not hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators make no mention of charges at this point, though they did have the intersection partially closed for several hours Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone with information is asked to contact police.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Posted Nov 14, 2025 04:01:05 AM.
