While most urban cores have their own brand of charm, some fall flatter than others when it comes to culture, nightlife, and things to do,\u201d the study reads. \u201cWith that in mind, the FinanceBuzz team collected data on 75 of America\u2019s biggest cities and ranked them from most to least boring.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Overall, the most boring city in the country was determined to be Jacksonville, with a staggeringly low score of only 14.3<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__StackBase-sc-1fnzlkn-7 bqJyUE iQviKm block-quote\">\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 ewwUYq\">\u201cEncompassing nearly 875 square miles of area, Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the United States but only the 10th largest by population. This means there are large stretches of the city where population density is relatively low, naturally leading to lower instances of things like nightclubs and award-winning restaurants. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 ewwUYq\">In fact, 54% of all restaurants in Jacksonville are chains, tied for the fourth-highest rate in the country, while the city has the third-lowest rate of nightclubs and fourth-lowest rate of concert venues per capita of any city.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>FinanceBuzz, &#8220;Bored in the USA: The Most Boring Cities in America, Ranked&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">It wasn\u2019t the only Florida city to perform poorly, though. The state\u2019s capitol, Tallahassee, also managed to find a top 10 position down at No. 9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">While Tallahassee is a major college town, the has no award-winning food, few sports teams to watch, and low scores for both concert venues and must-see attractions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">But it\u2019s not all doom and gloom in the Sunshine State.
