\n\tMilly Bobby Brown clapped back at a photographer while posing on the red carpet at the \u201cStranger Things 5<\/a>\u201d premiere in London. When one of the photographers at the event yelled at Brown to smile for the cameras, the actor fired back: \u201cSmile? You smile!\u201d Brown then walked off the carpet. <\/p>\n

\n\tBrown\u2019s decision to stand up to the photographer recalls Chappell Roan, who made headlines last year year while walking the red carpet<\/a> at the MTV Video Music Awards. Variety\u00a0caught the moment on\u00a0video<\/a> where Roan responded to a yelling photographer who yelled at her to \u201cshut the fuck up.\u201d Roan responded: \u201cYou shut the fuck up.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tA few months later, Roan was walking the red carpet at the premiere of Olivia Rodrigo<\/a>\u2018s \u201cGuts World Tour\u201d\u00a0concert movie and called out another photographer<\/a> who she remembered being rude to her. The pop star accused the photographer of \u201cbeing disrespectful to me at the Grammys\u201d and claimed he had \u201cyelled\u201d at her during a Grammys party. Roan asked for an apology from the photographer, saying she \u201cdeserve[s] an apology for that\u201d and \u201cyou need to apologize to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDenzel Washington was another notable celebrity who got into an altercation with a photographer this year. Things appeared to get tense between\u00a0the Oscar winner and a pushy photographer on the\u00a0Cannes Film Festival<\/a>\u00a0red carpet in May for Spike Lee\u2019s \u201cHighest 2 Lowest.\u201d\u00a0Video from the carpet showed Washington pointing his finger at a photographer and shouting at him to \u201cstop.\u201d As Washington approached, the photographer tried to laugh off the confrontation and put his hands around the actor\u2019s arm. Washington pulled himself away and again told the photographer to stop.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tBrown has been making the press rounds lately in support of \u201cStranger Things 5,\u201d which is the final season of the blockbuster Netflix<\/a> series. The first batch of episodes launch Nov. 26 on Netflix.<\/p>\n
