Chicago police released pictures of two people they want to identify in connection with the fatal shooting of a \u201chardworking\u201d man and his son after their Little Village jewelry store jewelry was robbed nearly a week ago.<\/p>\n

The two sought were described by police as \ufeffAfrican American males, one of whom was wearing a black North Face hooded jacket, a brown brim baseball hat, glasses, black cargo pants and gray sneakers while the other was wearing a tan bucket hat, a Blackhawks jersey, tan pants, and black shoes, according to a police alert. <\/p>\n

Faustino Alamo, 63, and his son Luis, 25, were gunned down Nov. 8 outside their shop<\/a> in the 3800 block of West 26th Street about 5:50 p.m. when a man with a gun parked across the street and then walked into the jewelry store. He grabbed some jewelry and ran out of the store. <\/p>\n

The Alamos ran after him, and they then got embroiled in a fight with the robber who then opened fire. Faustino Alamo fired off one or two shots with his own weapon, according to a police report.<\/p>\n

The shooter was last seen traveling south on Springfield Avenue in a white Maserati SUV.<\/p>\n

A $10,000 reward is being offered through Cook County Crime Stoppers, and the family has started a GoFundMe<\/a> to help with expenses.<\/p>\n
