{"id":379420,"date":"2025-11-14T23:30:18","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T23:30:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/379420\/"},"modified":"2025-11-14T23:30:18","modified_gmt":"2025-11-14T23:30:18","slug":"matt-law-predicts-special-player-simply-wont-be-signing-for-chelsea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/379420\/","title":{"rendered":"Matt Law predicts \u2018special\u2019 player simply won\u2019t be signing for Chelsea"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Chelsea\u2019s ambitious transfer policy in recent years has left some supporters finding as much enjoyment from the transfer windows as they do the action on the pitch.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Summer signing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/news\/how-much-chelseas-estevao-willian-is-currently-worth-in-comparison-to-lamine-yamal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Estevao Willian is now worth more than \u00a3100m<\/a>, and it looks as if the club are not prepared to abandon their approach of signing some of the best young players in the game.<\/p>\n<p>The Blues are keen on signing Endrick from Real Madrid, after it has become clear that the striker is not in Xabi Alonso\u2019s plans in Spain.<\/p>\n<p>       Would Endrick be a good signing for Chelsea?     <\/p>\n<p>The European powerhouse are clearly going to be a side Chelsea are looking at to make any potential signings from, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/tag\/rodrygo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rodrygo<\/a> has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge in the past.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"689\" loading=\"lazy\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/GettyImages-2233016708-1024x689.jpg\" alt=\"Rodrygo playing for Real Madrid against Mallorca in La Liga.\" class=\"wp-image-323519\" \/>Photo by Denis Doyle\/Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>It has even been reported in the past that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechelseachronicle.com\/transfer-news\/the-two-players-chelsea-are-willing-to-offer-real-madrid-in-exchange-for-rodrygo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chelsea were willing to offer Joao Felix in a swap for Rodrygo<\/a>, before he eventually made the switch to Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>Despite it no doubt being one of the signings Chelsea fans would love their club to make, journalist Matt Law has warned supporters he does not see the deal happening.<\/p>\n<p>He said: \u201cWon\u2019t happen. I really, really, really hope this doesn\u2019t come back to bite me, but I can\u2019t see any world in which Rodrygo becomes of interest to Chelsea. Salary, position, recent history of how his career has gone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlso, the players that Chelsea have invested in, in similar positions, don\u2019t see it at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After a Club World Cup where Rodrygo hardly featured, he has made some more regular appearances this season.
