Stacey Plaskett\u00a0<\/a>during\u00a0a 2019 congressional hearing \u2014 and giving her real time help on how to damage President Trump\u2019s reputation, newly released documents show.<\/p>\n<p>The texts, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2025\/11\/14\/epstein-text-messages-cohen-house-hearing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first reported by the Washington Post, <\/a>show the convicted pedophile pontificating with Plaskett during a Feb. 27, 2019 House Oversight Committee hearing in which the then-former president\u2019s ex-attorney Michael Cohen testified about Trump\u2019s alleged payments to mistresses to silence stories before the 2016 election. Trump has vehemently denied all allegations.<\/p>\n<p>In the texts, Epstein appeared to be watching on television while Cohen brought up former Trump executive assistant Rhona Graff in his testimony.<\/p>\n<p>Documents show Jeffrey Epstein was feeding questions to\u00a0Rep. Downs for NY Post<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCohen brought up RONA \u2013 keeper of the secrets,\u201d Epstein texted, misspelling Graff\u2019s first name.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRONA??\u201d responded Plaskett, a non-voting delegate representing the US Virgin Islands.  \u201cQuick I\u2019m up next is that an acronym,\u201d she added, suggesting she\u2019d grill Cohen soon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThats his assistant,\u201d Epstein replied.<\/p>\n<p>The text messages also show Epstein influenced what questions Cohen asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHes opened the door to questions re who are the other henchmen at trump org,\u201d Epstein texted Plaskett at 12:25 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYup. NurPhoto via Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Plaskett began questioning Cohen at 2:28 p.m. and asked about Graff, as well as with other Trump associates Epstein had mentioned, according to the Washington Post.<\/p>\n<p>At 2:34 p.m, Epstein told Plaskett \u201cGood work\u201d\u2014 a minute after Plaskett finished her questioning.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein apparently gave Plaskett real-time help on how to damage President Trump\u2019s reputation. Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The texts were released as part of roughly 20,000 pages of documents from Epstein\u2019s estate made public Wednesday by the House Oversight Committee.<\/p>\n<p>The documents redacted Plaskett\u2019s name, but the newspaper analyzed the messages and compared them to hearing footage to report Plaskett was indeed texting Epstein.<\/p>\n<p>Rep. The congresswoman has previously made clear her long record combating sexual assault and human trafficking, her disgust over Epstein\u2019s deviant behavior and her support for his victims.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Virgin Islands delegate in July 2019 vowed to part ways to $8,100 in campaign donations the convicted pedophile gave her \u2013 after initially saying she planned to keep the cash.<\/p>\n<p>In June 2023, Plaskett made headlines when she tripped over her tongue on MSNBC, saying Trump \u201cneeds to be shot\u201d over his\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/06\/19\/judge-orders-trump-not-to-release-evidence-in-documents-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">alleged mishandling of classified documents<\/a>\u00a0before quickly correcting herself to say that he should be \u201cstopped.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/11\/13\/us-news\/trump-admin-live-updates-11-13-25\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump earlier this week called on the Department of Justice<\/a>\u00a0to probe Epstein\u2019s links to Democratic bigwigs and institutions like JP Morgan Chase.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi on Friday instructed Jay Clayton, the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, to oversee an investigation, vowing it would be handled \u201cwith urgency and integrity.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Jeffrey Epstein was feeding questions to\u00a0Rep.
