{"id":381589,"date":"2025-11-15T21:40:12","date_gmt":"2025-11-15T21:40:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/381589\/"},"modified":"2025-11-15T21:40:12","modified_gmt":"2025-11-15T21:40:12","slug":"fatal-collision-of-two-small-planes-in-southeastern-ontario","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/381589\/","title":{"rendered":"Fatal collision of two small planes in southeastern Ontario"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Updated:\u00a0November 15, 2025 at 3:15PM EST<\/p>\n<p class=\"b-date-custom__date-item\">Published:\u00a0November 15, 2025 at 3:12PM EST<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Ontario Provincial Police say one person is dead after two small planes collided in the air in southeastern Ontario on Saturday at approximately 11 a.m. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to OPP, the planes collided above Martintown in South Glengarry, which is approximately 100 kilometres southeast of downtown Ottawa. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">One of the planes landed safely, while the other was located in a wooded area and its the pilot was found dead. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Cornwall SDG Paramedics say the deceased individual was the lone occupant of a Cessna 172 that departed from the Cornwall-Summerstown Regional Airport.
