In the span of about six hours, Fort Worth police responded to two deadly shootings<\/a> in separate incidents on Friday and Saturday. <\/p>\n

On Friday at around 9 p.m., police responded to a shooting call on Lauretta Drive in southeast Fort Worth and found a man lying in front of a house with multiple gunshot wounds<\/a> to the torso. Medical responders provided aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. <\/p>\n

The man was outside the house when a group of unknown subjects arrived and a verbal altercation ensued, police said. A suspect in the group shot the victim<\/a> several times with a handgun and the group fled the scene. Police are interviewing witnesses and looking for video footage in the area. <\/p>\n

In a separate incident shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex on Augusta Lane in far north Fort Worth<\/a>. Officers found a man wearing a surgical mask and rubber gloves lying in a parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. <\/p>\n

Police were told three to four unknown men were seen in the complex also wearing surgical masks and gloves. Police believe the men may have been breaking into cars when the victim was shot by an unknown suspect<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The victim\u2019s brother spoke to police at the scene, according to a statement. Police said it appeared the brother had been at the complex at the time of the shooting<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The investigations are ongoing, police said, and no arrests have been made as police are still searching for suspects.
