At the team\u2019s training camp in Charlotte, North Carolina, Real Madrid<\/a> midfielder Arda G\u00fcler spoke to the press ahead of the Club World Cup game against Pachuca. Addressing a question on his preferred position in the team from Kiyan Sobhani of Managing Madrid, he responded, \u201cI can adapt to any position. If the team needs me on the wing I can play there, but for me it\u2019s better if I play in midfield because from there I can touch the ball more.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just spoke to Arda G\u00fcler about the position he prefers. He says he leans more towards playing in midfield rather than the right wing because he gets more touches on the ball in that role<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel more important because he always talks to me. In the first match, I played for 45 minutes, so everything seems better. I feel good with him because he likes to control the tempo, he wants more short passes, and he sees me as a midfielder, which is better for me.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re a good team. If they\u2019re here, it\u2019s because they\u2019re a good team, but we\u2019re going to try to win, and we\u2019re ready.\u201d<\/p>\n
