(Courtesy SDSO\/Instagram)<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0An 18-year-old wanted for reportedly negligently discharging a rifle in Poway was arrested Saturday in Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n<p>Cameron Johnson allegedly fired a rifle in an open field Tuesday near Hidden Valley Drive and Birch Lane, according\u00a0\u00a0to Lt.\u00a0\u00a0Colin Hebeler. <\/p>\n<p>Johnson was dressed in military-style fatigues and was in possession of a rifle that did not have a serial number when he was contacted by deputies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this point, Johnson ran from deputies into an area with dense vegetation,\u201d the lieutenant said. \u201cDespite an hours long search involving deputies, sheriff\u2019s ASTREA (helicopter) and sheriff\u2019s K-9s, Johnson was not located.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Deputies found firearm parts without serial numbers and body armor when they served a search warrant at Johnson\u2019s home, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson was wanted for suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm, possession of an un-serialized assault rifle and violation of a <a href=\"https:\/\/selfhelp.courts.ca.gov\/GV-restraining-order\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gun Violence Restraining Order<\/a>. A warrant for his arrest was issued by the San Diego Superior Court on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>Johnson was located and arrested in Oklahoma City on Saturday.
