{"id":384054,"date":"2025-11-17T00:16:15","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T00:16:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/384054\/"},"modified":"2025-11-17T00:16:15","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T00:16:15","slug":"biggest-arizona-news-stories-from-nov-14-16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/384054\/","title":{"rendered":"Biggest Arizona news stories from Nov. 14-16"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX \u2014 From a 40-cent gas discount taking place next week to a Mario Kart-themed apartment building set to open, here are some of the top Arizona news stories from Nov. 14-16.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-news\/circle-k-member-40-cent-gas-discount\/5776891\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Circle K offering Inner Circle members a gas discount of 40 cents per gallon for 1 day<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Arizonans looking to save money on gas are in luck as Circle K announced Friday that it will be offering a gas discount for Inner Circle members next week.<\/p>\n<p>The global convenience store chain is giving subscribers of its free rewards membership program 40 cents off per gallon on Thursday, Nov. 20.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs folks gear up for one of the busiest travel weekend of the year, we know every bit of savings and convenience matters,\u201d Circle K Vice President of Regional Operations Eddie Quintana said in an announcement. \u201cOur exclusive Inner Circle fuel rollback is all about helping customers hit the road with a full tank and a little extra left in their wallets for the holidays.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Arizonans who are not currently Inner Circle members do still have an opportunity to access the promotion, all they have to do is enroll before the day of the discount.<\/p>\n<p>There are three different ways to join the free rewards program, including through the Circle K app, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.circlek.com\/inner-circle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">chain\u2019s website<\/a>\u00a0or by entering a mobile number when checking out to receive an invite via text.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-real-estate\/mario-kart-apartments-phoenix\/5776328\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mario Kart-themed apartment building Rainbow Road set to open in downtown Phoenix<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new apartment building that is set to open near Roosevelt Row in downtown Phoenix will give tenants the opportunity to feel like they are living inside a video game.<\/p>\n<p>, a five-floor, 36-unit building near\u00a0\u00a0that is themed after the popular track in the Mario Kart games, will open later this month, according to Phoenix-based commercial real estate company Intersection Development.<\/p>\n<p>Prospective tenants can choose from one-, two- and three-bedroom\u00a0\u00a0with rents starting at $1,915 per month.<\/p>\n<p>Rainbow Road, which was\u00a0, was designed by European architecture studio R\u00e4kkhaus.<\/p>\n<p>The black, 12-sided exterior features window insets that are painted according to the colors of the Rainbow Road track \u2014 red, yellow, green, cyan and blue. This was done to give people walking around the building a sense of animation.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-restaurant-news\/jinya-ramen-bar-peoria\/5775920\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jinya Ramen Bar set to open 3rd metro Phoenix location in Peoria<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jinya Ramen Bar is less than a week away from opening its newest location in Peoria.<\/p>\n<p>The Japanese restaurant is set to start serving customers on Wednesday at The Trailhead shopping center off of\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It will be the national chain\u2019s third location in the Valley, joining branches in Chandler and midtown Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p>The first 100 guests at the Peoria opening will receive a free ramen bowl on their next visit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeoria is a thriving community,\u201d Tomo Takahashi, Jinya Ramen Bar founder and CEO, said in press release. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to bring Jinya Ramen Bar to Peoria and continue our growth in the Phoenix area. We\u2019re looking forward to serving authentic Japanese ramen in a neighborhood that values quality, culture and connection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0features ramen made with a variety of broths, noodles and toppings such as pork chashu, shrimp wonton and seasoned eggs. The restaurant also serves small plates and a selection of craft beers.<\/p>\n<p>The Peoria\u2019s restaurant will be the chain\u2019s\u2019 77th location. A fourth Arizona Jinya Ramen Bar is\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-news\/high-gas-prices-arizona-2025-fall\/5776327\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Current price of gas in Arizona 17 cents higher than this time last year<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are a lot of things Arizonans can be thankful for this Thanksgiving, but gas prices aren\u2019t one of them.<\/p>\n<p>With a statewide average of $3.36 for a gallon of regular gasoline, Arizona\u2019s current price is 17 cents higher than this time last year, according to AAA.<\/p>\n<p>This amount also makes Arizona the sixth most expensive state for gas prices, the association reported.<\/p>\n<p>Arizonans aren\u2019t alone when it comes to rising gas prices, according to petroleum analyst Patrick De Haan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNow, we\u2019re seeing about half of the nation\u2019s states kind of be slightly above last year,\u201d De Haan told\u00a0KTAR News 92.3 FM.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-real-estate\/west-valley-55-community\/5775937\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New 55+ community in West Valley now leasing for early 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new 55+ community in the West Valley called Album Surprise has started leasing for move-ins early next year.<\/p>\n<p>The community is located off of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/8w73mG24Jc4ruPr88\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parkview Place and Paradise Lane<\/a>\u00a0in downtown Surprise and is Greystar\u2019s \u2014 a global company for real estate investment, development and management \u2014 latest active adult apartment community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe designed Album Surprise to be a place where active adults can live life fully and on their own terms,\u201d Greystar Managing Director for Development Billy Cundiff said in a press release. \u201cFrom thoughtful design to a vibrant social atmosphere, every detail encourages connection, comfort and creativity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/albumlife.com\/communities\/album-surprise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Album Surprise<\/a>\u00a0is 4.1 acres and consists of 161 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, which can be as large as 1,325 square feet.<\/p>\n<p>Each apartment features quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, glass showers and stainless steel kitchen appliances.
