Pete Davidson<\/a> startled locals on Orchard Street by brawling with a pack of vagrants, but bystanders quickly realized there were cameras rolling.<\/p>\n

Davidson and his pal Callum Turner were filming a scene<\/a> for their new movie, \u201cOne Night Only.\u201d The \u201cSNL\u201d veteran has a cameo in the rom-com, playing an undercover cop who helps Turner\u2019s character break up the fight.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Turner then moved north where his movie crew took over several shops<\/a>, including a Ray\u2019s Pizza on Columbus Ave. and 82nd St., which was rechristened Claremont Pizza for the film. Turner\u2019s character owns the pizzeria.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The hunky English actor, who in real life is engaged to singer Dua Lipa<\/a>, set local hearts aflutter as he was filmed delivering pizza and buying flowers for his onscreen love at nearby Q Florist.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The premise of \u201cOne Night Only,\u201d<\/a> set in a dystopian future, is that premarital sex is only legal for one night of the year, something heartthrobs Davidson and Turner would never survive.<\/p>\n

The film, co-starring Oscar nominee Monica Barbaro<\/a> and helmed by \u201cAnyone but You\u201d director Will Gluck, is currently expected to hit theaters next August.<\/p>\n

\u201cDaily Show\u201d comedian Aasif Mandvi<\/a> enjoys poking fun at famous people \u2014 even the ones he likes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Honoring director Ken Burns last Sunday at the Critics Choice Documentary Awards<\/a>, Mandvi joked, \u201cKen Burns\u2019 style is so recognizable that the video software iMovie added a Ken Burns Effect<\/a>. You click a button and it pans across a sepia photo while someone reads a letter from Robert E. Lee\u2019s wife.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Burns chuckled even after Mandvi added, \u201cThe Civil War documentary<\/a> he did was longer than the actual Civil War.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The crowd, including Christine Baranski, Mariska Hargitay and Questlove, roared.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rachel Lithgow<\/a> was married for 17 years to actor Ian Lithgow<\/a>, who recently appeared in \u201cGodfather of Harlem\u201d<\/a> starring Forest Whitaker. They have two children.<\/p>\n

Now they\u2019ve split and she\u2019s written a book, \u201cMy Year of Really Bad Dates,\u201d<\/a> which offers an unflinching look at the chaos of modern relationships.<\/p>\n

A launch party<\/a> will be held Monday at Blue Door Books in Cedarhurst, Long Island, following a successful event in Los Angeles last week hosted by\u00a0\u201cFull House\u201d star Jodie Sweetin<\/a>, who narrates the audiobook.<\/p>\n

Rachel writes in the memoir that her marriage was doomed because her father-in-law, \u201cConclave\u201d star John Lithgow<\/a>, didn\u2019t like her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI felt caught between trying to please and prove myself to my in-laws, who most certainly and in no uncertain terms disapproved of me and our marriage, and to stand with my husband, whom I loved so much it hurt,\u201d she says. \u201cIt got progressively worse over time, and it added layers of trauma to an existing layer cake of trauma. It became quite a large cake by the time I got divorced.\u201d<\/p>\n

Seven years later, the former spouses are still friends, and Rachel says Ian supports her book.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really proud of where we came from and where both Ian and I are today, both separately and together as co-parents of two spectacular, almost grown, people,\u201d she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence is dooming the ghostwriting profession.<\/p>\n

Joshua Lisec<\/a>, who has ghostwritten over 100 books since 2011, told me, \u201cJobs are drying up. AI can generate an entire book in minutes, good, cheap and fast. Literary professionals will be replaced.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lisec realized in 2018 that he couldn\u2019t remain a ghost: \u201cI lost some deals because I refused to sign a confidentiality agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n

Today, Lisec is credited as co-author of Dr. Robert Lufkin\u2019s bestseller, \u201cLies I Taught in Medical School,\u201d<\/a> and will also be listed on heart surgeon Dr. Philip Ovadia\u2019s upcoming book, \u201cStay Off My Kitchen Table.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n

And he\u2019s not alone, he said:\u00a0\u201cGhostwriters are increasingly asking for \u2014 and receiving \u2014 credit for the books they write.\u201d<\/p>\n

In recent years, ghostwriter J.R. Moehringer has been widely credited for Prince Harry\u2019s memoir, \u201cSpare.\u201d<\/a> Former pro rugby player Johnny Sexton brought his ghostwriter onstage when his autobiography won an award last year. And the American Society of Journalists and Authors has launched the first-ever award for ghostwriters and paid collaborators<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cGhostwriting has traditionally been seen as a shameful secret,\u201d Lisec said. No longer.<\/p>\n

Lisec is writing five books where he\u2019ll be acknowledged as a ghost, and another three books as co-author.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s hard enough launching one restaurant, but Michael Della Femina<\/a> is opening two eateries in Manhattan next month.\u00a0<\/p>\n
