{"id":384383,"date":"2025-11-17T03:48:22","date_gmt":"2025-11-17T03:48:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/384383\/"},"modified":"2025-11-17T03:48:22","modified_gmt":"2025-11-17T03:48:22","slug":"social-security-benefits-for-november-2025-check-out-this-months-full-schedule-of-payments","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/384383\/","title":{"rendered":"Social Security benefits for November 2025: Check out this month\u2019s full schedule of payments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\">The U.S.\u2019s Social Security Administration (SSA) is <b>currently in the midst of sending out benefits checks for November<\/b> &#8211; the penultimate month before the new, increased payments begin in 2026. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">As is customary each month, <b>November\u2019s disbursements are going out to<\/b> <b>retirees<\/b>, survivors, and recipients of Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI).<\/p>\n<p>Per the SSA\u2019s official payment schedule: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSI benefits are distributed <b>on the first day of each month<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>Social Security benefits for individuals who began receiving payments before May 1997 <b>are sent on the third day of the month<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>For those <b>who receive both SSI and regular Social Security<\/b>, the former is paid on the first, and the latter on the third.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\">All other Social Security payments are <b>issued on one of three Wednesdays in each month<\/b>, based on the birth date of the worker who accrued the benefits entitlement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Second Weds.:<\/b> Birthdays between the 1st and 10th<\/li>\n<li><b>Third Weds.:<\/b> Birthdays between the 11th and 20th<\/li>\n<li><b>Fourth Weds.:<\/b> Birthdays between the 21st and 31st<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"\">If a scheduled payment date falls on a weekend or federal holiday, <b>the SSA brings it forward<\/b> to the nearest working day. This, for example, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.as.com\/latest_news\/social-security-is-sending-out-payments-today-friday-october-31-find-out-whos-receiving-a-check-f202510-n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/en.as.com\/latest_news\/social-security-is-sending-out-payments-today-friday-october-31-find-out-whos-receiving-a-check-f202510-n\/\">was the case for SSI recipients this month<\/a>, as November began on a Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Nov. 2025 Social Security payment schedule:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Fri., Oct. 31: <\/b>SSI recipients<\/li>\n<li><b>Mon., Nov. 3: <\/b>Beneficiaries who started receiving payments before May 1997; dual beneficiaries<\/li>\n<li><b>Weds., Nov. 12: <\/b>Birthdays between 1st and 10th<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/en.as.com\/latest_news\/social-security-to-send-out-payments-on-wednesday-nov-19-heres-who-gets-a-check-f202511-n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/en.as.com\/latest_news\/social-security-to-send-out-payments-on-wednesday-nov-19-heres-who-gets-a-check-f202511-n\/\"><b>Weds., Nov. 19<\/b><\/a><b>: <\/b>Birthdays between 11th and 20th<\/li>\n<li><b>Weds., Nov. 26:<\/b> Birthdays between 21st and 31st<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Average Social Security benefit in 2025<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The exact amount paid to each recipient of retirement checks varies, as payments are <b>calculated based on factors such as an individual\u2019s earnings history<\/b>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.as.com\/latest_news\/what-is-the-average-social-security-check-at-the-age-of-66-n\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/en.as.com\/latest_news\/what-is-the-average-social-security-check-at-the-age-of-66-n\/\">the age at which they began claiming<\/a> their benefits.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">In its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssa.gov\/policy\/docs\/quickfacts\/stat_snapshot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ssa.gov\/policy\/docs\/quickfacts\/stat_snapshot\/\">most recent update<\/a>, the SSA said retired workers <b>receive an average of $2,008.31<\/b>. The highest amount available to a retiree in 2025 is $5,108.<\/p>\n<p>Paper checks no longer an option<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">For years, Social Security and SSI benefits were available via both electronic payment and traditional paper checks. However, as of September 30, <b>the SSA has officially discontinued paper checks<\/b>. Beneficiaries who were still receiving physical checks <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.ssa.gov\/social-security-transition-to-electronic-payments-deadline-approaching-september-30\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/blog.ssa.gov\/social-security-transition-to-electronic-payments-deadline-approaching-september-30\/\">must now switch<\/a> to e-payment methods.<\/p>\n<p>How much will benefits rise by in 2026?<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Each year, the SSA implements a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA), in an attempt to prevent beneficiaries\u2019 spending power from being reduced by inflation.
