In total, five of the top 10 on both the men’s singles and women’s singles seeds are already headed home. That totaled increased on Thursday with British star Jack Draper going out.

Draper, the No. 4 seed, could not shake veteran Marin Cilic as the Croatian took the first two sets before Draper could get anything going. Draper has never fared well at his home Grand Slam, failing to get out of the second round in his last four appearances.

The top 10 seeds going down has really opened up the bracket for No. 1 Jannik Sinner and No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz, who are an astonishing +150 and +115 to win the tournament, respectively.

On the women’s side, No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka continues to roll after a domination of Marie Bouzkova. She has a lot less to worry about as well with No. 2 Coco Gauff, No. 3 Jessica Pegula and No. 4 Jasmine Paolini all already eliminated. There are still some major threats to worry about, including 2025 Australian Open champion Madison Keys as well as five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek.

Action continues on Friday in the third round with Alcaraz taking on Jan-Lennard Struff, who scored an upset of No. 25 Felix Auger-Aliassime in the second round. Meanwhile, top American Taylor Fritz is back on the court to take on a difficult challenge in No. 26 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.

On the women’s side, Sabalenka is back when she takes on hometown favorite Emma Raducanu. Plus, Keys gets back on the court to take on Laura Siegemund. Keys has only advanced to the quarterfinals of Wimbledon twice in her 12 years of competition. A win on Friday takes her into the fourth round, where she was eliminated last year.

Wimbledon 2025 results: Taylor Fritz, Madison Keys among remaining Americans after sluggish opening rounds

                    Brad Crawford

Keep it locked here over the next two weeks for our complete coverage of the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.

Where to watch the 2025 Wimbledon Championships

Dates: June 30 – July 13, 2025

Location: All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club — London

TV: ESPN, ABC | Stream: fubo (try for free)

Third round matches, bracket for men’s singles

1.
