Celebrity singers Janet Jackson<\/a> and Paula Abdul were spotted out and about in Dallas this weekend. <\/p>\n

Jackson, fresh off her Saturday performance at <\/b>United Way of Metropolitan Dallas\u2019 centennial celebration in Fair Park<\/a>, dropped by Ladylove Lounge & Sound in Bishop Arts. She sat in a section of the popular dancing spot carved out by a red velvet rope while DJ Sober and Alan Palomo spun tunes. <\/p>\n

\u201cJanet is one of my favorite artist[s] of all time, so I\u2019m still shook,\u201d DJ Sober, whose real name is Will Rhoten, wrote in a Sunday Instagram story. \u201cI rarely play a set where I don\u2019t drop at least one of her songs. The fact that she grooved to me playing is wild.\u201d <\/p>\n

Ladylove, whose DJs run the gamut of disco, house, goth, reggaeton, rap and \u201980s Japanese vinyl, has been a celebrity hangout spot recently. Florida rapper Doechii made an appearance there after a Toyota Music Factory concert alongside Dallas native and Top Dawg Entertainment labelmate Kal Banx<\/a> in October. Fort Worth\u2019s Leon Bridges<\/a> has also paid a visit. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Abdul was also in town for a charitable cause. The Texas Humane Legislation Network, an animal welfare advocacy group, held its 50th anniversary celebration at Gilley\u2019s in South Dallas on Saturday, with Abdul attending a meet and greet beforehand. <\/p>\n
