BELPRE \u2013 A New York man was arrested recently in Belpre on drug charges in a cooperative investigation by the Washington County Sheriff\u2019s Office Detective Bureau and the Parkersburg Violent Crimes and Narcotics Task Force.<\/p>\n

Cleveland Bedgood, 50, Lockport, N.Y., was charged with possession of drugs, trafficking drugs and tampering with evidence, according to a release from the task force.<\/p>\n

On Thursday and Friday, the task force executed search warrants at two residences Bedgood was known to utilize in Wood County. Agents recovered more than 6 pounds of methamphetamine between the two locations, the release said.<\/p>\n

Additional charges are forthcoming, the release said.
