Former Oregon Ducks guard Keeshawn Barthelemy<\/a> has been added to the Portland Trail Blazers<\/a>\u2019 summer league roster. <\/p>\n

The Blazers begin play in the NBA\u2019s 2025 Summer League on July 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-1 guard played three seasons at Oregon after transferring from Colorado, where he played two.<\/p>\n

Barthelemy, who started 28 games at Oregon in 67 appearances, averaged 9.3 points and 2.4 assists during his Ducks career.<\/p>\n

Last season, he scored 10.0 points per game with 2.5 assists, shooting 42.6% from the field and 41.4% from three-point range. He started the final 14 games of the season.<\/p>\n

In 2023-24, a dislocated ankle ended Barthelemy\u2019s season after 18 appearances.<\/p>\n

Barthelemy will have an opportunity to shoot his way into a shot with the Rip City Remix of the G League. <\/p>\n

The Blazers desperately need outside shooting within the organization after ranking 26th in three-point shooting last season (34.2%) and then trading guard Anfernee Simons to the Boston Celtics. <\/p>\n

Barthelemy will have the opportunity to compete in practices against several guards<\/a> with NBA experience, including James Bouknight.<\/p>\n

Shot opportunities should come Barthelemy\u2019s way, especially while playing with rookie center Yang Hansen, whom the Blazers went after in the draft in part because of his court vision and passing abilities. <\/p>\n
