The holidays are fast approaching, and the need for food assistance is greater than ever. That\u2019s why we\u2019re partnering with the San Antonio Food Bank for the Food 4 SA Drive to collect food and raise money for local families. Eric Cooper from the Food Bank and Brandy Ralston-Lint from Security Service Federal Credit Union joined us to share how you can help.<\/p>\n
Of their 4-million-pound goal, the Food Bank has already collected 3 million pounds, but the food is going out just as fast as it comes in. This weekend, you can donate a frozen turkey at any H-E-B Plus location as part of their effort to collect 16,000 turkeys for families in need.<\/p>\n
San Antonio is known for its spirit of giving, and this is one of the quickest ways to make a real impact. If you can\u2019t donate food, you can contribute money online or volunteer your time to help.<\/p>\n
