POMERANC:<\/strong> Let\u2019s just say the group had creative differences. I have since spoken to Amanda many times. She\u2019s super creative; she\u2019s really interesting. But there was a little drama there.<\/p>\n

LOPEZ:<\/strong> I want to say it was the opening night [of Teddy\u2019s]\u2014I remember going with Lindsay [Lohan], and I think Donatella Versace<\/a> was there. It was a very hot night, very exclusive, and you would look around, and it was all the girls. It was like, Mischa Barton<\/a>, Nicole Richie<\/a>, Paris Hilton.<\/p>\n

POMERANC:<\/strong> Leo, Lindsay, Paris, that group kind of exploded. They were going out all the time, and Teddy\u2019s was their hub. Kim [Kardashian]<\/a> was just, like, a footnote.<\/p>\n

MINTZ:<\/strong> I recall the first night that we invited Kim Kardashian to join us at Hyde. Kim Kardashian\u2019s first real job in Hollywood was building closets for celebrities. Paris hired her, and Kim worked diligently for weeks.<\/p>\n

MEISELS:<\/strong> I had hired Kim, who didn\u2019t have a job at the time, to clean out Paris\u2019s closets. Because she didn\u2019t want to work at Dash.<\/p>\n

MINTZ:<\/strong> One night when Kim was doing some finishing touches, Paris said to me, \u201cYou know that girl who did my closet? She\u2019s really, really nice. I get really good vibes from her. Why don\u2019t you invite her to join us tonight at Hyde?\u201d<\/p>\n

Kim\u2019s first reaction was to look a little horrified. She said, \u201cThat\u2019s so kind of her, but I just want you to know I don\u2019t smoke. I don\u2019t drink. I don\u2019t dance. And besides, look at me\u2014I have nothing to wear.\u201d Paris said, \u201cOh, don\u2019t be silly\u2014she doesn\u2019t have to smoke, she doesn\u2019t have to drink, pick something of mine and change into it.\u201d As the visits increased\u2014because Paris liked her and invited her to many of them\u2014Kim usually waited for the other women to enter first, and then she would walk in.
