SAN ANTONIO \u2014 San Antonio police are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on the west side Wednesday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police were called to Suzette Avenue and Historic Old Highway 90 for a fatal collision that occurred before 6 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Authorities said a man in his 20s was walking along the west side of the road and crossed the street outside of a crosswalk when a white SUV, driving westbound, hit the man. The driver slowed down after hitting the man and then fled the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police said a second vehicle driving behind the white SUV also ran over the man and stopped to call police. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n
