{"id":390370,"date":"2025-11-19T17:23:16","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T17:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/390370\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T17:23:16","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T17:23:16","slug":"kirk-herbstreit-goes-on-epic-rant-against-trolls-accusing-espn-of-bias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/390370\/","title":{"rendered":"Kirk Herbstreit goes on epic rant against trolls accusing ESPN of bias"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kirk Herbstreit isn\u2019t taking too kindly to any suggestions that ESPN is biased toward the SEC and he\u2019s letting the \u201cidiots\u201d out there know it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The college football analyst tore into the critics alleging that he and his colleagues at the Worldwide Leader favor the conference that ESPN has partnered with on a lucrative contract.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese idiots say, \u2018How much do people pay you to say this bulls\u2013t?\u2019 F-off,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=s9UlKCemack\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Herbstreit said on the \u201cNonstop\u201d podcast<\/a>, while discussing the College Football Playoff rankings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re talking about the sport. We\u2019re talking about what we care about. I don\u2019t give a s\u2013t about the SEC. I give a s\u2013t about where these teams are going to come. How are they going to find these 12 teams? Where they are going to split these hairs at No. 11, No. 12, No. 13, No. 14 \u2014 it\u2019s fascinating to me. I get so tired of the bulls\u2013t. I just get so f\u2013king tired. These people talking about the SEC, how much they pay you \u2014 are you kidding me? Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>The college football and \u201cThursday Night Football\u201d analyst has made waves before, catching the ire of fanbases across college football.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He was a target for Florida State fans in 2024 and this year, he previously spoke about the hate he receives from Ohio State fans.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Herbstreit attributed the hate he gets to the lack of understanding of how he\u2019s evaluating teams.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m just saying \u2014 everybody recognizes the depth and the challenge of the SEC,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can hate that. You can make fun of that,\u201d he continued. \u201cDo whatever the hell you want with that. That\u2019s the reality of the sport. That\u2019s the reality of the world.
