That\u2019s the case with Orchard Street in Lower Manhattan, which is why we named it as one of the coolest streets in the world for 2025.<\/p>\n<p>New York City\u2019s Orchard Street came in as No. 9 on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/travel\/coolest-streets-in-the-world-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">global list<\/a>, joining with fellow USA streets Roscoe Street in Chicago and Pacific Coast Highway in Central Malibu.\u00a0Rua do Senado in Rio de Janeiro took the top spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECOMMENDED: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/travel\/coolest-streets-in-the-world-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The 31 coolest streets in the world in 2025<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each of the streets on the list boasts its own magic\u2014views, architectural gems, museums, boutiques and more. Old-school leather stores sit next to new galleries. Tattoo parlors abut fancy fragrance boutiques. Music\u00a0spills out of bars while restaurants drag tables into the street for al fresco dinners.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The street offers a feast for the eyes\u2014and the stomach. Stroll from end to end on these eight blocks, and you\u2019ll be met with dozens of bars and restaurants to sate any cravings. A must on our list:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/restaurants\/best-new-york-pizza\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scarr\u2019s Pizza<\/a>. This slice isn\u2019t just one of the best in NYC, it\u2019s also one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/news\/this-nyc-pizza-was-just-named-one-of-the-best-in-the-world-030725\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">best in the world<\/a> thanks to pizzaiolo Scarr Pimentel who mills his own grain, offering an airy base for your toppings. Don\u2019t worry, the line moves fast.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For drinks, pull up a chair in the dimly lit, always creative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/news\/these-9-bars-in-nyc-were-just-named-the-best-in-north-america-041625\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bar Contra<\/a> where the cocktail menu will keep your taste buds entertained. It was once packed with tenements where working-class immigrant, migrant and refugee families lived in often harrowing conditions. Today,\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/museums\/the-tenement-museum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tenement Museum<\/a>\u00a0located on Orchard Street keeps their stories alive.
