Thank you to my teammates and my opponents for bringing out my best. I am excited about my senior year with my Shoregals. (Brian Fisher \u2013 For The Morning Journal)<\/p>\n<p>The Shoregals went 23-6 (12-2 in SWC).<\/p>\n<p>Avon Lake\u2019s defense conceded 34.6 points per game. It led the Shoregals to the Division III state championship game appearance, their first since winning it all in Division II in 1994.<\/p>\n<p>Miller and teammate, post Molly Milligan, are the only returning starters.<\/p>\n<p>Avon Lake recently competed in the 2025 Midwest Live and played Perrysburg, Streetsboro, Toledo Start and Massillon Perry.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Miller had interest from the Warriors, Malone and Ursuline. She received an offer at Wayne State on her campus visit.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"BxsTclfl1F\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.morningjournal.com\/2025\/06\/14\/high-school-girls-basketball-avon-lake-elyria-catholic-and-rocky-river-compete-in-2025-midwest-live-at-cedar-point\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">High school girls basketball: Avon Lake, Elyria Catholic and Rocky River compete in 2025 Midwest Live at Cedar Point<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Miller is a two-sport athlete who made all-county and all-district honors in softball.<\/p>\n<p>Wayne State went 20-12 (13-7 in GLIAC). The Warriors lost to Grand Valley State in the conference tournament semifinals.
