{"id":390607,"date":"2025-11-19T19:55:22","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T19:55:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/390607\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T19:55:22","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T19:55:22","slug":"the-6-nyc-restaurants-that-just-earned-new-michelin-stars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/390607\/","title":{"rendered":"The 6 NYC Restaurants That Just Earned New Michelin Stars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"346\">Last night, at the 2025 Michelin Northeast Cities ceremony in Philadelphia, a handful of NYC restaurants had plenty of reason to celebrate.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"99a193ea-8c3e-9c64-f068-2cfa21e3388d\" class=\"photo lazy inline\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"lazy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1763582117_852_image.webp.webp\" alt=\"Huso\" data-caption=\"Huso\" data-credit=\"Photograph: Cayla Zahoran\" data-width-class=\"\" data-image-id=\"106344800\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhotograph: Cayla ZahoranHuso&#13;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"348\" data-end=\"828\"><strong data-start=\"348\" data-end=\"361\">Sushi Sho<\/strong>, the omakase hotspot helmed by Keiji Nakazawa, earned an additional star, bringing it to three Michelin stars\u2014the guide\u2019s highest honor, given to restaurants offering \u201cexceptional cuisine, worth a special journey.\u201d It now joins the elite group already occupied by the perennially lauded Korean restaurant Jungsik, Eric Ripert&#8217;s famed Le Bernardin, Thomas Keller&#8217;s Per Se and Daniel Humm\u2019s Eleven Madison Park (which recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/news\/eleven-madison-park-is-bringing-back-the-meat-and-peta-is-pissed-081425\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">returned to its carnivorous roots<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"993\">The Korean go-to<strong data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"857\"> Joo Ok <\/strong>also moved up the rankings, rising from one to two Michelin stars, the category reserved for \u201cexcellent cooking, worth a detour.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"681047c0-734e-c71c-71db-55208ce8cae0\" class=\"photo lazy inline\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"lazy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1763582120_2_image.webp.webp\" alt=\"Bridges\" data-caption=\"Bridges\" data-credit=\"Photograph: Adrianna Glaviano\" data-width-class=\"\" data-image-id=\"106344801\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhotograph: Adrianna GlavianoBridges&#13;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"995\" data-end=\"1919\">A number of long-standing honorees retained their two Michelin stars, including Scandinavian restaurant Ask, the intimate Brooklyn eatery that also boasts a cellar bar and garden; Aquavit, a high-end Scandinavian restaurant with prix-fixe and tasting menus; downtown New American standout Atera; the well-known Blue Hill at Stone Barns in Tarrytown; C\u00e9sar, another tasting-menu destination; Chef&#8217;s Table at Brooklyn Fare; modern French landmark Gabriel Kreuther; Jean-Georges&#8217; eponymous flagship; Danny Meyer&#8217;s The Modern inside the Museum of Modern Art; acclaimed Japanese spot Odo; the upscale Saga on the 63rd floor of a 1920s skyscraper in the Financial District; Sushi Noz, which still offers only four seatings per day at its six-seat counter; and Masa, the Columbus Circle temple of omakase that made headlines last week after it l<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/newyork\/news\/this-nyc-restaurant-just-lost-a-michelin-star-111325\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ost a Michelin star in a rare pre-ceremony move<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"81f6c441-ea1b-2903-1b10-1a2738dfc01a\" class=\"photo lazy inline\" loading=\"lazy\" data-component=\"lazy-embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1763582122_518_image.webp.webp\" alt=\"Yamada\" data-caption=\"\" data-credit=\"Photograph: Evan Sung\" data-width-class=\"\" data-image-id=\"106344802\"\/>&#13;<br \/>\nPhotograph: Evan Sung&#13;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1921\" data-end=\"2386\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Four new restaurants earned their very first Michelin star, the designation for \u201chigh-quality cooking, worth a stop.\u201d They include <strong data-start=\"2068\" data-end=\"2079\">Bridges<\/strong> in Chinatown, likely still Manhattan&#8217;s hottest new restaurant;
