CNN host Abby Phillip<\/a> said during an interview on \u201cThe View<\/a>\u201d on Wednesday that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a>, R-Ga., was learning that loyalty was a \u201cone-way street\u201d with President\u00a0Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think Marjorie Taylor Greene, there\u2019s probably some truth to the idea that she had bigger aspirations, whether a Senate run or a gubernatorial run and that those were not supported, but what happens when suddenly the person that you\u2019ve been backing for the last six, seven years turns on you? I think it really changes your mindset about everything,\u201d Phillip told the co-hosts.<\/p>\n

Greene has broken with Trump over the Epstein files, Obamacare subsidies and some of his foreign policy. <\/p>\n

The president has\u00a0dropped his endorsement\u00a0of Greene and called her a \u201craging lunatic,\u201d among other things.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt calls into question everything that you know about yourself, and I do think there is a lot to that. I don\u2019t think we should rule out that she, she said no to Senate right now. She said no to governor right now. I don\u2019t think we should rule that out for her because, obviously, life is long,\u201d Phillip said. <\/p>\n

\u201cBut I do think that this loyalty thing with Trump, if you\u2019ve covered him as I have, you know it\u2019s a one-way street. But she literally is learning that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Phillip said she believed Greene was realizing that Trump \u201cis not there for her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"CNN'sCNN host Abby Phillip said on \u201cThe View\u201d that Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has realized that loyalty is a \u201cone-way street\u201d when it comes to dealing with President Trump. ABC<\/p>\n

During a press conference on Tuesday, Greene criticized Trump for calling her a \u201ctraitor,\u201d despite her loyalty to him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was called a traitor by a man that I fought for five, no, actually, six years for, and I gave him my loyalty for free,\u201d Greene said,\u00a0according to ABC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI won my first election without his endorsement, beating eight men in a primary, and I\u2019ve never owed him anything, but I fought for him, for the policies and for America first, and he called me a traitor for standing with these women and refusing to take my name off the discharge petition,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

The Georgia congresswoman said on Sunday during a CNN interview that she hoped she and Trump could make up and also apologized for\u00a0taking part in \u201ctoxic politics.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI certainly hope that we can make up. And, you know, again, I can only speak for myself. I\u2018m a Christian and one of the most important parts of our faith is forgiveness. And that\u2019s something I\u2019m committed to,\u201d\u00a0Greene said.<\/p>\n
