Minka Kelly gushed over her boyfriend, Dan Reynolds, when asked about him on \u201cThe Drew Barrymore Show\u201d \u2014 one day after awkwardly shutting down similar questions from Jenna Bush Hager<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During Wednesday\u2019s interview, Barrymore wondered whether the Imagine Dragons singer, 38, has read Kelly\u2019s memoir<\/a>, \u201cTell Me Everything.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

The \u201cChampagne Problems\u201d star, 45, explained that her boyfriend actually read her book before they met in person.<\/p>\n

Minka Kelly was asked about boyfriend Dan Reynolds by Drew Barrymore after the actress shut down Jenna Bush Hager\u2019s questions.<\/p>\n

The \u201cDrew Barrymore Show\u201d host wanted to know whether Reynolds has read Kelly\u2019s memoir.<\/p>\n

The duo had been texting and FaceTiming after being introduced by a mutual friend<\/a> when Kelly mentioned having recently turned in her manuscript.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was like, \u2018I wanna read it,\u2019\u201d the actress recalled. \u201cSo I was like, \u2018Well, OK, well, here you go. You\u2019ll either be terrified and run for the hills, or you\u2019ll see the beauty in all of it.’\u201d<\/p>\n

She noted that Reynolds, \u201cfortunately, was the latter,\u201d with the experience making them \u201ccloser.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress explained that the Imagine Dragons singer had done so before they even met.<\/p>\n

Barrymore quipped, \u201cGod, if we could all come with a dossier about our lives, how amazing would that actually be?\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly and the Grammy winner went public with their romance<\/a> in 2022 but have primarily kept their love out of the spotlight<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFriday Night Lights\u201d alum did, however, share a gushing Instagram tribute<\/a> for her partner over the summer.<\/p>\n

One day prior, Reynolds came up during Kelly\u2019s \u201cToday\u201d show appearance. TODAY with Jenna & Friends<\/p>\n
