Meghan King<\/a> and Jim Edmonds<\/a> are parents to three children<\/a>.<\/p>\n The Real Housewives of Orange County alum and the former professional baseball player, who were married from 2014 to 2019<\/a>, share daughter Aspen and twin sons Hart and Hayes. The former couple welcomed Aspen on Thanksgiving Day in 2016 and later became a family of five with twin sons Hart and Hayes’ birth in June 2018.<\/p>\n After King and Edmonds separated in 2019<\/a>, they finalized their divorce in May 2021. While King initially moved on and was briefly married to Cuffe Biden Owens for two months<\/a>, Edmonds wed his wife, Kortnie Edmonds<\/a>, in 2022.<\/p>\n King reportedly lost custody of her kids<\/a> after an investigation by Child Protective Services, several outlets reported in November 2025. The former couple came up with the name while reflecting on memorable moments together.<\/p>\n “We were at our house in Idaho and we were just talking about names. And there’s Aspen trees right outside the window of our house and we said, ‘What about Aspen?’ and that was it,” King told the Daily Dish<\/a> in 2017. “We thought it sounded feminine and unique, but not crazy out there.
