For customers with collection normally scheduled on Thursday, trash and recycling will be collected on Friday, November 28. Friday collection that week will happen on Saturday, November 29.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transfer Stations: <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>Both the 27th Ave. and North Gateway transfer stations will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28, 2025.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Public Works Customer Contact Center: <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>The Contact Center will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28, 2025. It will reopen at 7 a.m. on Monday, December 1. Residents can call 602-262-6251.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Library:<\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>All Phoenix Public Library locations are closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28, 2025 in observance of the holiday. Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenixpubliclibrary.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">phoenixpubliclibrary.org<\/a> for more details. Phoenix Public Library book drops and digital\/eResources are available 24\/7.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking Meters: <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>All parking meters are enforced from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm daily, including weekends and holidays.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parks and Recreation Facilities: <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<p>City of Phoenix Community centers will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28, 2025. Parks and trails will be open for regular hours, but please review \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenix.gov\/parks\/trails\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Take a Hike. Do it Right<\/a>.\u201d safety guidelines before visiting a trail.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>S\u2019edav Va\u2019aki Museum<\/strong> will be closed on Thursday, November 27, but will be open on Friday, November 28, 2025.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Public Transit:<\/strong> Both bus and light rail will operate on a Sunday schedule Thursday November 27, 2025, and Customer Service will be closed. Service will operate on a weekday schedule with no Express or RAPID bus service on Friday, November 28, 2025. Customer Service on Friday will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. The following public transit centers also are closed on both days: Ed Pastor, Sunnyslope and Central Station. Check <a href=\"https:\/\/valleymetro.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ValleyMetro.org<\/a> for schedules.\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dial-a-Ride service<\/strong> will be available, by reservation, between 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Nov. 27 and 28. To learn more about the Dial-a-Ride service, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenix.gov\/dial-a-ride\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Phoenix.gov\/dial-a-ride<\/a>. \u200b\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport:<\/strong> If you plan to park at the airport, reserve your parking in advance. Book your parking at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyharbor.com\/parking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">skyharbor.com\/parkphx<\/a>. Come early even if you have a reservation.\n<\/p>\n<p>Passengers can view security checkpoint wait times on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyharbor.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">skyharbor.com<\/a> or on one of the flight information display boards in each terminal. You can use any security checkpoint in Terminal 4 to access any gate.\n<\/p>\n<p>The PHX Reserve program allows guests to schedule a specific time for their TSA security screening. All you need to do is reserve your time and show up at your assigned checkpoint at your appointment time. Register at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skyharbor.com\/flying-from-phx\/security-screening\/phx-reserve\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">skyharbor.com\/phxreserve<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n<p>Confirm flight status with your airline before heading to the airport, then give yourself plenty of time. Arrive at the airport at least two hours before your flight departs if you are flying domestically, three hours if you are flying internationally.\n<\/p>\n<p>Finally, look for Navigators dressed in purple. Navigator volunteers serve all over the Airport by providing directions, information, and friendly assistance.
