Phoenix\u2019s Better Together<\/a> EDM festival this weekend has been canceled, and fans can blame it on the rain<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The two-day event was scheduled for Nov. 22 and 23 at Steele Indian School Park. Headliners included Dom Dolla, Jungle, Duke Dumont and ODESZA.<\/p>\n

Arizona promoter Relentless Beats canceled the festival after city of Phoenix officials advised this week\u2019s storms<\/a> made the park unusable. The company announced Better Together 2025\u2019s cancellation on social media<\/a> Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe share the same excitement you do about Better Together festival and our team has been working around the clock on-site in coordination with the city of Phoenix throughout the week,\u201d the statement said. \u201cUnfortunately, sustained rain, saturated grounds and dangerous weather forecasts, including possible flash flooding and thunderstorms, created major safety concerns. City of Phoenix officials told us Steele Indian School Park cannot safely support load-in or public operations at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Relentless Beats says all Better Together 2025 ticketholders will receive refund instructions within the next seven to 10 business days. The company also announced the festival will return in 2026.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we follow the city\u2019s direction to ensure the safety of all attendees, staff, and partners,\u201d the statement read. \u201cWe look forward to celebrating the music, community, and magic we\u2019ll create together when conditions allow.\u201d<\/p>\n

Better Together launched in 2023 with its first two editions at the indoor venue Rawhide Event Center in Chandler. Past lineups included such superstar DJs and producers as Disclosure, Kaytranada and Ti\u00ebsto. In May, Relentless Beats announced the festival would move outdoors to the larger Steele Indian School Park.<\/p>\n

Better Together 2025 was set to be one of metro Phoenix\u2019s biggest fall music festivals until massive storms drenched the Valley on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Local EDM fans were disappointed by the news of the cancellation. Michael Hooker, a Phoenix DJ, summed up the mood in his comments <\/a>on Facebook.<\/p>\n

\u201cSuch a shame,\u201d Hooker stated. \u201cMonths go into planning and prepping for festivals, from securing a site, permits, booking talent, etc. etc. You can never plan for the weather at any time of the year, and if the city (pulls) permits due the safety reasons, there is absolutely nothing you can do.\u201d<\/p>\n
