{"id":393572,"date":"2025-11-21T02:03:20","date_gmt":"2025-11-21T02:03:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/393572\/"},"modified":"2025-11-21T02:03:20","modified_gmt":"2025-11-21T02:03:20","slug":"cook-childrens-officials-recommend-immunizations-as-respiratory-virus-rates-increase","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/393572\/","title":{"rendered":"Cook Children\u2019s officials recommend immunizations as respiratory virus rates increase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\tCases for two flu variations and respiratory syncytial virus, or RSV, have more than doubled since the end of October, according to data from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cookchildrens.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Cook Children&#8217;s Health Care<\/a> in Fort Worth.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In a nutshell<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More than 11% of all patients tested at Cook Children\u2019s Medical Center-Fort Worth for respiratory viruses on the week of Nov. 9 were positive for Flu A, Flu B or RSV. The hospital tested a total of 757 patients during that week.<\/p>\n<p>By comparison, the hospital tested 633 patients on the week of Oct. 26 and saw 5.53% of those patients tested positive for one of the three respiratory viruses.<\/p>\n<p>Cook Children\u2019s Medical Center Dr. Laura Romano, a doctor based in Fort Worth, said numbers have remained low so far but are expected to continue to rise in the upcoming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know that as people travel and father in large groups, respiratory viruses will begin to spread.
