Tonight, July 4, Oasis<\/a> kicked off their long-anticipated<\/a> reunion tour<\/a> at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. Taking the stage together for the first time since their bitter breakup in 2009, Liam<\/a> and Noel Gallagher<\/a> ran through a set of hits and fan-favorites from across their discography, beginning with (What\u2019s the Story) Morning Glory?<\/a>\u2019s \u201cHello\u201d and making fans wait until late into the show for songs like \u201cWonderwall\u201d and \u201cChampagne Supernova.\u201d Check out the full setlist and photos from the show below.<\/p>\n

Rumors of an Oasis reunion have circulated since at least 2017, when Noel Gallagher stood Liam up<\/a> at a benefit concert<\/a> for victims of the Ariana Grande<\/a> Manchester concert bombing<\/a>. Since the split, both Gallagher brothers have pursued their own projects, with Liam recording under his own name<\/a> and Noel as Noel Gallagher\u2019s Flying Birds<\/a>. When news of a tour was confirmed last year, they wrote, in a press statement: \u201cThe guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.<\/p>\n

The first leg of Oasis Live \u201925 will extend through the end of August, with the Gallaghers slated to play multiple shows in each of Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Dates in North<\/a> and South America<\/a>, as well as Australia, are scheduled throughout the remainder of the year. Exorbitant ticket prices, caused by Ticketmaster\u2019s \u201cdynamic pricing\u201d model, have led to scrutiny<\/a> from European regulators. The tour will be documented as a concert film<\/a> produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace.<\/p>\n

Oasis were among the nominees<\/a> for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame<\/a>\u2019s Class of 2025<\/a> but did not make the final cut. The Britpop titans recently shared that they\u2019ll be reissuing<\/a> their sophomore album, 1995\u2019s (What\u2019s the Story) Morning Glory?<\/a>, in celebration of its 30th anniversary.
