Nearly three years after she landed behind bars for conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing, Jen Shah<\/a> will reportedly be released from prison in a matter of weeks.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City<\/a> star has been granted an early departure date of December 10 by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, according to People<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shah was originally sentenced to six and a half years for her crimes back in 2023 – meaning she will have only spent less half of her sentence when she is released next month.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Shah’s manager, Chris Giovanni, says the Bravo star has achieved ‘real growth’ while incarcerated and is\u00a0aware of the gravity of her ‘mistakes’.<\/p>\n

However, a representative for the Federal Bureau of Prisons’ Office of Public Affairs has told Daily Mail that Shah is still projected to be released in 2026.<\/p>\n

‘For privacy, safety, and security reasons, we do not discuss any incarcerated individual\u2019s conditions of confinement or specific release plans. However, we can confirm Jennifer Shah has a projected release date of August 30, 2026, as seen on our \u201cFind an inmate\u201d page,’ they said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In a statement obtained by People,\u00a0Giovanni said Shah’s family are appreciative of the reported early release date as Shah will be able to spend the holidays with them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Everyone’s very grateful for the BOP’s decision, especially because it means Jen will be able to reunite with her family for the holidays,’ her Giovanni told People. ‘It’s a gift she doesn’t take for granted.’<\/p>\n

‘Jen’s in a really positive, hopeful place mentally,’ he continued. ‘She’s done a lot of reflecting and real growth during her time away, and is genuinely not the same woman as she was before. Her focus is on her family and building a healthier, more grounded life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘She understands the seriousness of the mistakes she made and is excited to put this chapter behind her so that she can show everyone the woman she’s worked hard to become.’<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail has reached out to Giovanni and the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas for comment but did not immediately hear back.<\/p>\n

It’s not yet known where Shah will be headed to after prison, however BOP policy states she will either return to her home or be transferred to a halfway house to finish off the remainder of her sentence with supervision, according to People.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Where she will be headed to will be determined before she is released.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The low security prison is home to a number of celebrity jailbirds, including Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell and disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes.<\/p>\n

Shah began her 78-month sentence in February 2023 after pleading guilty to wire fraud charges tied to the multimillion-dollar scheme, which duped thousands of victims, many of them seniors.<\/p>\n

She was also ordered to pay more than $6.5 million in restitution.<\/p>\n

Her arrest in March 2021 was famously captured on Bravo cameras during season two of RHOSLC, cementing her place in Housewives history.<\/p>\n

Shah initially proclaimed her innocence, even doubling down during reunion specials, but ultimately changed her plea to guilty in July 2022\u2014months after her former assistant and co-conspirator, Stuart Smith, admitted his role.<\/p>\n

Since entering prison, her sentence has been reduced multiple times.<\/p>\n

The BOP reduced the sentence on account of her good behavior, involvement in prison programming, and the payments she had begun sending victims after she was ordered to pay $6.5M in restitution, according to People.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Originally set for release in 2029, her date was bumped up to August 2028, then to December 2027, and most recently to November 3, 2026, according to Page Six.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n

Her team has been keeping fans updated via her digital diary, Dear Jen Shah, where they claim the mother-of-two is embracing ‘personal self work’ and rehabilitation.<\/p>\n

In December, they revealed she was ‘doing very well,’ staying busy with creative projects, including organizing holiday-themed showcases within the prison.<\/p>\n

Shah has also remained in contact with her RHOSLC castmates.<\/p>\n

That same month, her team confirmed she had recently spoken to Meredith Marks, describing their phone call as ‘extremely positive.’<\/p>\n

In an unusual twist of fate, Shah has reportedly bonded with fellow inmate Elizabeth Holmes, the infamous Theranos founder who is serving an 11-year sentence for fraud.<\/p>\n

Despite her fall from Bravo stardom to federal prison, Shah seems intent on showing she’s committed to self-improvement while waiting out the remainder of her sentence in Texas.<\/p>\n

In an essay shared with People last year, Shah explained what she has learned during her incarceration so far.<\/p>\n

‘Upon entering FPC Bryan, I wholeheartedly believed that no one was suffering as badly as I was,’ she wrote.<\/p>\n

‘I quickly recognized that so many women are here battling and overcoming circumstances far worse than mine,’ she continued. ‘Their resilience inspires and truly humbles me.’<\/p>\n

The entrepreneur has held tightly to her Muslim faith, ‘Recognizing that God continues to bless me not withstanding my wretched and unpredictable surroundings; expressing sincere gratitude has been my most effective coping mechanism.<\/p>\n

‘Despair and depression are companions that strive to capture my undivided attention every single day,’ she explained but, ‘Praying five times a day helps keep these and other emotional serpents at bay. I am most grateful for the aspects of my life that have never left me: My Family and Faith.
