GREEN BAY \u2013 The Packers have listed running back Josh Jacobs<\/a> (knee) among six players questionable for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.<\/p>\n

Others also questionable are receivers Matthew Golden<\/a> (shoulder\/wrist), Savion Williams<\/a> (foot) and Dontayvion Wicks<\/a> (calf), and defensive linemen Karl Brooks<\/a> (ankle) and Lukas Van Ness<\/a> (foot).<\/p>\n

Linebacker Quay Walker<\/a> (neck) is doubtful while cornerback Nate Hobbs<\/a> (knee) and receiver Jayden Reed<\/a> (shoulder\/foot) have been ruled out. The Packers opened Reed’s 21-day window to return from injured reserve on Friday.<\/p>\n

Jacobs left Sunday’s game against the New York Giants after 12 plays due to a bone bruise and thigh contusion<\/a> he suffered in the game. After returning to practice Thursday in a limited capacity, Jacobs told reporters he expects the “worst-case scenario” is he’ll be back next Thursday against the Detroit Lions.<\/p>\n

However, the Packers are giving him the full week before determining whether Jacobs could play against the Vikings, too.<\/p>\n

“We’re just gonna see what he can do,” said Head Coach Matt LaFleur before Friday’s practice. “Just talking to him, he’s feeling pretty good, so we’ll see when we get out there.”<\/p>\n

Van Ness has missed the past five games with the foot injury he suffered last month against the Cincinnati Bengals. LaFleur said the “the goal” is for him to play against Minnesota before adding “we’ll see how he gets through (practice) today.”<\/p>\n

Brooks didn’t practice on either Wednesday or Thursday before returning on Friday. Meanwhile, Williams didn’t practice Friday after practicing on Thursday in limited fashion.<\/p>\n

Walker didn’t practice this week after leaving Sunday’s game against New York with a stinger\/neck issue. In Walker’s absence, fifth-year veteran Isaiah McDuffie<\/a> stepped up as the “Mike” linebacker responsible for relaying defensive play calls.<\/p>\n

“Isaiah’s played a lot of football for us and he’s played a lot of different positions,” LaFleur said. “It does have a little bit of a compound effect in regards to \u2013 because we all see his value on and his worth, not only on the defense but on special teams as well.”<\/p>\n

Quarterback Jordan Love<\/a> (left shoulder) was a full participant in practice all week and will play Sunday against the Vikings.<\/p>\n

Kicker Brandon McManus<\/a> also practiced in full this week and will be available Sunday. He sat out against the Giants after being added to the injury report with a right quadriceps injury before the team traveled to New York on Saturday.<\/p>\n

“Hopefully the rest has been good for him,” said special teams coordinator Rich Bisaccia on Thursday. “He had a really good day (Wednesday). Probably the best day he’s had in a while. We’re excited for what (Friday) brings and hopefully should be ready for the game.”<\/p>\n

In addition to Love and McManus, the Packers didn’t issue a game status for the following players who’ll be available Sunday: defensive lineman Micah Parsons<\/a> (pectoral), safety Javon Bullard<\/a> (ankle), linebacker Edgerrin Cooper<\/a> (foot), receiver Romeo Doubs<\/a> (wrist), cornerback Keisean Nixon<\/a> (illness), cornerback Bo Melton<\/a> (shoulder), tackle Zach Tom<\/a> (back), receivers Christian Watson<\/a> (knee) and guard Aaron Banks<\/a> (veteran rest).<\/p>\n

The Vikings listed center Ryan Kelly (concussion) and outside linebacker Jonathan Greenard (shoulder) as questionable. Kelly is currently on injured reserve and would need to be added to the 53-man roster in order to play Sunday.<\/p>\n
