Mike McCord said in an email. <\/p>\n<p>Reckless damage or destruction of property is a class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $500. <\/p>\n<p>This case is still active.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<strong>Unauthorized use of vehicle<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>On Oct. 14, officers made contact with an unaffiliated person who was driving a stolen vehicle, McCord said. He was arrested and transported to Arlington Police Department jail. <\/p>\n<p>Unauthorized use of a vehicle is a state jail felony, punishable by imprisonment of 180 days to two years in jail, with the possibility of a fine not exceeding $10,000. <\/p>\n<p> <strong>Theft of property and criminal trespass<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>On Nov. 14, a staff member reported the theft of a university vehicle, McCord said. <\/p>\n<p>Theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000 is a state jail felony, punishable by imprisonment of 180 days to two years in jail, with the possibility of a fine not exceeding $10,000. <\/p>\n<p>If the offender has not been previously convicted of trespassing on higher education property, the offense is a class B misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed $2,000, confinement in jail of up to 180 days or both. <\/p>\n<p> <strong>Offensive or provocative physical contact and offensive physical contact against family member<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>On Nov. 15, an unaffiliated person was issued citations for allegedly assaulting two students during an argument, McCord said. <\/p>\n<p>Offensive or provocative physical contact and offensive physical contact against a family member is a third-degree felony punishable by jail time between two and 10 years.
