He started formal lessons at age seven and was playing professionally as a teenager.<\/p>\n<p>Reed has found major success in New York and around the world in the decades since.<\/p>\n<p>Now, the acclaimed pianist and composer says he is \u201cletting go\u201d personally and professionally.
