A driver who struck and critically injured a pedestrian in Chicago’s West Rogers Park neighborhood was taken into custody, police said.<\/p>\n
The incident was reported at approximately 3:02 a.m. in the 2400 block of West Devon Avenue near North Western Avenue. Chicago police said a 41-year-old man was struck by a green sedan traveling eastbound on Devon Avenue.<\/p>\n
The victim sustained unspecified trauma and was taken to an Evanston hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said. The 24-year-old driver of the vehicle was transported to the hospital in good condition and placed in custody.<\/p>\n
