Charlotte is 1-9 this year.

Georgia 7, Charlotte 0, 6:18

9 Plays, 60 Yards, 4:31

After a Charlotte three and out, UGA takes over on its own 40. The drive begins with back to back runs by Nate Frazier for a total of 9 yards. Georgia picks up the first down on a QB keep. Then, Nate Frazier has back to back carries again for a total of 4 yards. Stockton’s pass to Zachariah Branch is complete for 14 yards and another first down. After a run by Phillips Jr for no gain, Stockton passes to Lawson Luckie for a 28 yard pickup. The Dawgs get their first score thanks to a 3 yard run from Nate Frazier.

First QuarterGeorgia football-Charlotte live updates, score, highlights for Week 13 game

12:45 p.m. ET: Charlotte has won the toss and elected to defer.

12:05 p.m. ET: CJ Allen is not dressed out but running back Chauncey Bowens and wide receiver Talyn Taylor both are. Taylor has not played since the Alabama game due to a collarbone injury.

Defensive back Kyron Jones is dressed out. He has not played since Georgia’s win over Auburn due to a foot injury.

Interesting to note that Malachi Tolliver is working as the first-team center during pregame warmups.

9:45 a.m. ET: After eight consecutive SEC games, Georgia steps out of conference for what should be an easy win. The Bulldogs are six-touchdown favorites on Saturday and Charlotte is one of the worst teams in the FBS.

If Georgia takes care of business, that should give them the chance to play a lot of young players and manage certain injuries. Chauncey Bowens and CJ Allen are not expected to play after suffering injuries against Texas.

Should Georgia get up by a healthy margin, the Bulldogs could get a long look at some of their backups. Quarterbacks Ryan Puglisi and Ryan Montgomery could get real reps in relief of Gunner Stockton.

“Ryan’s doing a great job,” Georgia coach Kirby Smart said. “He gets a lot of work, as well as Ryan Montgomery. Both those guys continue to grow.”

But Georgia will have to get up by a comfortable margin to make that happen. In a similar situation last year against UMass, Georgia gave up 226 rushing yards in a 59-21 win. The final result was never in doubt, but it was not what Smart wanted to see from his team that day.

Georgia football injury report

DB Kyron Jones — foot — questionable

Chauncey Bowens — doubtful

CJ Allen — knee — doubtful

DL Jordan Hall — leg — out

WR Colbie Young — leg — out

WR Talyn Taylor — collarbone — out

TE Ethan Barbour — ankle — out

DB Ondre Evans — knee — out

Georgia football-Charlotte game time for Week 13 game

The Georgia football-Charlotte game will start at 12:45 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 22.

Georgia football-Charlotte TV channel for Week 13 game

The Georgia football-Charlotte game will air on the SEC Network. The seniors, always a special day when these guys have their last home game, or what’s scheduled to be their last home game. It’s a special moment. It’s always hard for me because of the tradition and the moments we’ve had with a lot of these guys. It’s tremendous group, to get to go out and play in front of their families, in front of the Georgia fan base against Charlotte, so we’ll begin the prep for those guys today and this week.”

On SEC title uncertainty with two non-conference games left…

“It’s not a difficult position. It’s, we’re worried about Charlotte, right? So we’re focused on them. We’re getting ready for those guys. That’s who we’ll prepare for. The next week we’ll have a plan for the following week in terms of people breaking things down, and things like that. But it’s not a difficult time, in terms of that, because we’re worried about getting better.”

On Ryan Puglisi’s development…

“Ryan’s doing a great job.
