The victim was then subsequently hit by multiple additional vehicles. None of the vehicles stopped or contacted law enforcement, Chelsey Jones, a spokesperson for the Irving Police Department said in a statement. Police are not aware of any witnesses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">An investigation is ongoing and it\u2019s unclear at this time if there were other fatalities or injuries. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">State Highway 183 eastbound at State Highway 360 was shut down early Saturday morning according to a 3:44 a.m. alert from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.txdotalerts.com\/Closures\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.txdotalerts.com\/Closures\">Texas Department of Transportation<\/a>.
