Suns’ Grayson Allen reflects on his career-high scoring game<\/p>\n
Grayson Allen scored a career-high 42 points, hitting 10 shots from 3, in the Phoenix Suns’ victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 10, 2025.<\/p>\n
Phoenix Suns<\/a> guards Grayson Allen and Jalen Green remain out for Sunday\u2019s game against the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> on Nov. 23 in the first of a home back-to-back at Mortgage Matchup Center.<\/p>\n Allen will miss his third straight game with a right quad contusion. The Suns (10-6) play the Houston Rockets<\/a> (10-4) in the second of a back-to-back on Monday, Nov. 24.<\/p>\n \u201cHe hasn’t done anything full court yet because today is a day after a game,\u201d Suns coach Jordan Ott said about Allen after Saturday\u2019s practice, Nov. 22. \u201cHe did do a workout today. This thing could speed up real fast, and he’d be fine, but it’s still the same contusion, bruise on the quad. Nothing long-term.\u201d<\/p>\n The Suns are coming off a 114-113 comeback thriller on Nov. 21 over the Minnesota Timberwolves<\/a> (10-6) in an NBA Cup Group A game.<\/p>\n The Spurs (11-4) suffered their first loss of the season against the Suns on Nov. 2 in Phoenix. They\u2019ve won their last three games.<\/p>\n Green remains sidelined with a right hamstring strain that has limited him to two games.<\/p>\n \u201cIt’s getting better,\u201d Green said Saturday. \u201cTaking it day-by-day. It’s been some good progressions. Still keep working at it.\u201d<\/p>\n Put on a four-to-six-week re-evaluation timetable three days after reinjuring it on Nov. 8 against the Los Angeles Clippers<\/a>, Green is scheduled for that re-evaluation next month.<\/p>\n “It was a surreal moment. I really didn’t do nothing too explosive.”<\/p>\n Green didn’t miss a game in each of his last two seasons with the Rockets.<\/p>\n Ryan Dunn (right wrist sprain) and rookie Rasheer Fleming (left ankle sprain) are listed as questionable.<\/p>\n Dunn has started the last three games for Allen. He took a hard fall after missing a dunk attempt over T-Wolves 7-footer Rudy Gobert.<\/p>\n Fleming suffered his injury in the second half of Phoenix\u2019s 127-110 victory on Nov. 18 at Portland.<\/p>\n \u201cJust a minor ankle,\u201d Ott said before Friday\u2019s win. \u201cHe did roll it late in the game, around 2-1\/2, three minutes left. He actually turned it over, came back, jumped in the air. I’m not even sure if he hit anyone. Rolled his left ankle. He got his opportunity, but this is life. It’s not long-term. He’ll be back soon.\u201d<\/p>\n The Spurs will be without Victor Wembanyama (left calf strain), Stephon Castle (left hip flexor strain), Dylan Harper (left calf strain) and Jordan McLaughlin (left hamstring strain).<\/p>\n Have opinions about the current state of the\u00a0Suns?
