\n\tSabrina Carpenter<\/a> hit an appropriately cheeky milestone on Saturday during her fifth of six nights at Los Angeles\u2019 Crypto.com Arena: Her 69th concert of the Short n\u2019 Sweet Tour.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMy friends wanted me to inform you: This is our 69th show,\u201d Carpenter announced while sitting on her heart-shaped stage, sending the crowd into wild cheers over the spicy stat.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s a fitting marker for the trek: Since its September 2024 kick-off, the Short n\u2019 Sweet Tour has been known for its little suggestive moments, like Carpenter\u2019s nightly \u201cJuno\u201d sex positions (\u201chave you tried this one before?\u201d), the voyeuristic \u201cBed Chem\u201d video camera (\u201cI bet the thermostat\u2019s set at six-nine\u201d), and the elevator that ticks up the floors until \u201cSC\u201d comes just after the 68th.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWe knew we\u2019d get there eventually, and tonight\u2019s the night,\u201d Carpenter said of the 69th show. \u201cAnd it\u2019s Saturday, and we\u2019re just like, we\u2019re living!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tIn one more nod to Night 69, Carpenter emerged for the final song, last year\u2019s top five Billboard Hot 100<\/a> smash \u201cEspresso,\u201d in sparkly blue go-go boots and an oversize Los Angeles Dodgers jersey, with her last name emblazoned on the back and the jersey number of \u2014 you guessed it! \u2014 69.<\/p>\n

\n\tAnother tongue-in-cheek nightly tradition is Carpenter arresting someone in the crowd for the crime of being \u201ctoo hot,\u201d and Saturday night\u2019s offender was actress and Saturday Night Live legend Maya Rudolph, who Carpenter asked: \u201cWhoa, whoa, whoa \u2014 what\u2019s your name, gorgeous?\u201d After Rudolph mouthed back \u201cMaya,\u201d Carpenter responded, \u201cMaya, you\u2019re stunning. Where are you from?\u201d She mouthed \u201cLos Angeles\u201d and made her best attempt at throwing up an \u201cL.A.\u201d hand sign, but Carpenter didn\u2019t think the crowd had a big enough reaction. \u201cScream louder \u2014 that\u2019s here!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThen she got down to business: \u201cMaya, I don\u2019t know the situation you\u2019re in currently romantically, but I was sort of hoping that I could lock you down tonight, if possible.\u201d (Let\u2019s hope Rudolph\u2019s partner of almost 25 years and the father of her four children, acclaimed filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson, isn\u2019t feeling threatened.) She then tossed some fuzzy pink handcuffs out into the crowd to officially lock Rudolph down.<\/p>\n

\n\tPrevious L.A. arrestees included SZA on Thursday night<\/a> and actress sisters Dakota and Elle Fanning<\/a> on Monday. <\/p>\n

\n\tCarpenter returns to Crypto.com Arena on Sunday (Nov. 23) to play her sixth night in L.A. and the final night of her 70-date Short n\u2019 Sweet Tour.
