{"id":400445,"date":"2025-11-24T03:10:11","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T03:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/400445\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T03:10:11","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T03:10:11","slug":"george-arthur-bell","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/400445\/","title":{"rendered":"George Arthur Bell"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Surrounded by his children,<br \/>\n        George Arthur Bell passed away on November 21, 2025, at Doctor Everett<br \/>\n        Chalmers Hospital.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>George was born in Prince<br \/>\n        Edward Island on August 8,1934.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He is predeceased by his<br \/>\n        parents Cecil and Harriott Bell; Brothers Ted, Frank, Russell and Don<br \/>\n        Bell and sisters Gertrude and Aida Bell; wife Gertrude Bell (Brown)<br \/>\n        and daughter Leisa Adams (Bell).<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by sons Arthur<br \/>\n        (Arlene), Mike (Karen) and Darren Bell (Ally); daughters Marilyn<br \/>\n        Aub\u00e9 (Allen) and Angie Bell and many nieces and nephews.<br \/>\n        George was blessed with 13 grandchildren and many<br \/>\n        great-grandchildren.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For the past five years George<br \/>\n        resided at Hillsley Care Home where he came to love all of his<br \/>\n        &#8220;girls,&#8221; who made him feel right at home, especially his<br \/>\n        special friend Crystal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>George was a very hard worker<br \/>\n        in his days and was employed with Levines Scrap Metals Ltd for many<br \/>\n        years. He loved working on cars in his spare time, as one could tell<br \/>\n        when driving by George\u2019s home and seeing the yard filled<br \/>\n        with cars that needed fixing.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Life wasn\u2019t always<br \/>\n        easy for George, but he always persevered. He loved going to Bingo and<br \/>\n        would never miss a night. If you ever stopped by for a visit, then you<br \/>\n        better have been prepared to play a game or two or three of Crib. In<br \/>\n        the past few years, he came to love his weekly visits and crib games<br \/>\n        with his son Mike. His kids meant a lot to him, and he talked about<br \/>\n        each one often. He greatly loved all of his grandchildren and asked<br \/>\n        about them frequently.
