{"id":40140,"date":"2025-07-05T07:00:10","date_gmt":"2025-07-05T07:00:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/40140\/"},"modified":"2025-07-05T07:00:10","modified_gmt":"2025-07-05T07:00:10","slug":"jso-investigating-potential-abduction-on-easter-street","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/40140\/","title":{"rendered":"JSO investigating potential abduction on Easter Street"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\"><strong>JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 The Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office is investigating a suspicious incident reported as a potential abduction and is asking for the public\u2019s help.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Just before 9 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the 1300 block of Easter Street for a domestic disturbance. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">According to a witness, 18-year-old Vink Omar was inside a residence when Elias Armstrong, her 20-year-old ex-boyfriend, arrived and repeatedly tried to get her to come outside \u2014 even breaking a window.<\/p>\n<p>JSO: Reported Potential Abduction (JSO)<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Omar eventually stepped outside to speak with Armstrong, who allegedly grabbed her and tried several times to pull her away from the home. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The witness went inside to call police and, upon returning, found both individuals gone.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The pair were last seen arguing a short distance from the residence and are believed to have left the area on foot.
