During the 2024-25 season, the area accumulated just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/2025\/07\/07\/chicago-weather-snow-how-it-compares\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">17.6 inches<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The most snow Chicago has ever received in one season was 89.7 inches during 1978-79.
