{"id":401738,"date":"2025-11-24T17:16:14","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T17:16:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/401738\/"},"modified":"2025-11-24T17:16:14","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T17:16:14","slug":"i-saw-it-on-tape-bill-maher-floored-as-lara-trump-denies-president-called-a-reporter-piggy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/401738\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018I Saw It on Tape!\u2019 Bill Maher Floored as Lara Trump Denies President Called a Reporter \u2018Piggy\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Bill Maher<\/strong> was left in disbelief as <strong>Lara Trump<\/strong> denied that President <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong> called a reporter \u201cpiggy\u201d aboard Air Force One.<\/p>\n<p>The moment came after Maher asked Trump about the exchange between the president and Bloomberg White House correspondent <strong>Catherine Lucey <\/strong>on November 14.<\/p>\n<p>As Lucey inquired about the ongoing <strong>Jeffrey Epstein<\/strong> fiasco, the commander-in-chief snapped back, \u201cQuiet, piggy!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Monday\u2019s episode of Maher\u2019s show <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@ClubRandomPodcast\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Club Random;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Club Random<\/a>, Maher said he was in the process of writing an editorial in which he argues that liberals have to \u201cget over\u201d themselves and \u201ceat with your family, even the ones who are Trump voters.\u201d Trump\u2019s \u201cpiggy\u201d remark, he suggested, undermined that point:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">MAHER: Don\u2019t do things like call a woman, \u201cpiggy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">LARA: Do we know that happened?<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">MAHER: I saw it on tape a thousand-<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">LARA: Or did he say, \u201cMcGee\u201d? [Laughter]<\/p>\n<p>Lara then launched into an aside about Trump being an \u201cequal-opportunity offender,\u201d citing his criticism of Israeli Prime Minister <strong>Benjamin Netanyahu<\/strong>. Undeterred, Maher pivoted back to the president\u2019s Air Force One moment:<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">MAHER: I\u2019m just saying, on a personal level, here I am working on this editorial for Friday all about how it\u2019s mostly liberals who have to like get over yourselves, eat with your family \u2014 even the ones who were Trump voters\u2013<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">LARA: \u201cEven the Trump voters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">MAHER: Even the Trump voters.
