With heavy
\n hearts, we regret to announce the sudden passing of David Cranswick
\n Reddick, age 61, of North Grant, Antigonish County, on November 22,
\n 2025, in St. Martha\u2019s Regional Hospital,
\n Antigonish.<\/p>\n
Born in
\n Antigonish, he was a son of Laura (Johnson) and the late William
\n “Bill” Reddick of North Grant.<\/p>\n
David moved to
\n London, Ontario, when he was young, where he worked for Cami for 30
\n years.\u00a0 He retired at the age of 55 and moved back home to
\n Antigonish to build his dream home.\u00a0 He was, unfortunately,
\n unable to move into his home.<\/p>\n
David liked to
\n play golf with his brother, Ralph, and brother-in-law, Pat.\u00a0
\n He also enjoyed hosting “Guys Night”, his Thursday night
\n pool sessions.<\/p>\n
Besides his
\n mother, he is survived by his daughter, Emily, Newfoundland; six (6)
\n sisters, Deborah, Antigonish; Connie (Merle) Pelley, Antigonish;
\n Darlene (Nelson) Pelley, Halifax;\u00a0 Maxine Reddick-Maclellan,
\n Halifax; Nanette, Halifax; Joanne (Pat) O’Sullivan, London Ontario;
\n two (2) brothers, Evie and Donnie, both of Antigonish; and many nieces
\n and nephews.<\/p>\n
Besides his
\n father, he is predeceased by his brothers, Martin and
\n Ralph.<\/p>\n
Visitation
\n will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in C.L. Curry Funeral
\n Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish.\u00a0 Funeral will be held
\n Thursday in St. James United Church, Antigonish, at 2pm, with Reverend
\n Peter Smith presiding.\u00a0 Burial in St. James & St.
\n Paul Cemetery at a late date.<\/p>\n
