A health and social care bursary which has been running for more than 30 years has opened to new applications. <\/p>\n
Insurance Corporation, which runs the scheme, said it aimed to recognise the dedication of health and social care workers in Guernsey.<\/p>\n
It said the project deemed most beneficial to the Bailiwick community would be awarded \u00a33,000, with \u00a31,500 for a runner-up. <\/p>\n
The bursary champions a wide variety of projects tackling topics such as alcohol abuse, bereavement, elderly falls, eating disorders, mental health, diabetes, memory care, and midwifery, it said. <\/p>\n
Mark Marshall, managing director of Insurance Corporation, said: “For 34 years, we’ve been astounded by the quality and diversity of the projects submitted. <\/p>\n
“The knowledge and talent within HSC are incredible, and it’s inspiring to see such innovative ideas from frontline workers.”<\/p>\n

“Each year we’re impressed by the creativity and compassion that really shines through.<\/p>\n
